Loving the misty photos Tony. Thanks for walking and posting in all weathers. I read the BBC headlines on my phone every day, and recently Scottish photos have been popping in each week - some are really delightful. If you google "" your pictures of Scotland 9-16 February 2024" this week's will come up - some are just gorgeous. I hope you enjoy them too, and can browse through past weeks as well. Hello Tony. Superb photos as ever. We especially like the one of Holy Trinity Chapel Stile where we got married in 1985.
Today we wenr to Grange and had lunch at the Hazelmere which was excellent as ever.

One of the things that we loved best when we used to stay in Troutbeck were the Herdwicks. They always seem to be smiling. No wonder, with the fabulous views they have.
But it does surprise me that any animal that looked so happy could have such amazingly harsh fleece ! We both still have Herdwick jumpers from a trip many years ago. Perfect for our very cold Winters. But they have to be the last layer on or we would die from the itching
