From the lovely reflection in one of your photos today, I see the Autumn change is just starting to show its colours over there. Here we should be in Spring, but we expect a cool snap and icy blast from the Antarctic this week. Loved the sheep butts from today (Saturday). Usually when I am photographing animals, they present their "best side forward" so I get similar shots, but you have accomplished a double and mirrored image even, congratulations!

Beautiful pictures from Friday, as always. The photo of Coniston over Sunny Bank to Penny Bridge gave me some pause for thought... "where did those islands come from? are the fields flooded...?" then I realised it is just the smooth water and waves on the lake.
Maybe I need to up the strength on my 'readers'...

Just feeling so shamed that it has been such a long time since I looked at your photos on the Cam. I used to look forward to them on a daily basis and loved all of them, Just like today. I've been there a couple of times, since I visited the village where my grandfather was born...Egremont. I'm now 84 and not sure I'll ever get back to England and the Dells. I wish I could get an "excellent delicious cream tea" on this side of the pond, especially one "starting with fish and chips". Unfortunately, they are in short supply in Nashville, Tennessee. Keep up the good work - I look at your pictures daily to remind me of home. My father is a also a sometime contributor to your guestbook.
