Thanks Tony. Beautiful photos again. It's always great to travel a wee bit through the country that I started to love during the past 50 years. Pet for Ben. Lydia (NL)

Hello Tony, when you are standing on high with Sir Ben, in the pouring rain, chilled to the bone and wondering why you are doing this, remember all the very grateful people all over the world whose day you brighten!!! X X

Ed Kiser says it all, Tony. I often say to you "Long may your knees keep working" - but I see from recent mountain top photos, that you and Sir Ben must still be doing alright! Many thanks from me too - Gwen, south coast NSW,

Hi Tony, Haven't signed your Guestbook for a long time but I just wanted to second Ed Kiser's thoughts that you've posted on today's page. You've provided so much pleasure to so many people all around the world - thank you. I'm setting off to England for 5 weeks today, and won't be able to view your page until I get back, but a short visit to the Lakes might be possible. Best wishes to you and family (including Ben)and all Lakeland Cam viewers. Lynn in Ballarat, Australia

Enjoyed your photos from Beamish Museum. We visited there in 2007 when we were over from New Zealand.

hello Tony - for Doug Brown, Toowoomba, - we live by the sea. I think those rays are reflections in the clouds near the eastern horizon. Sometimes you can't see these clouds from the shore, but the western setting sun often puts glorious rays and colours over in the eastern sky - and I think it's reflections in clouds out there. Not sure if this is quite what Doug meant. How unusual to see so many cormorants like that in today's photos Tony - they are usually "lone" birds out here. Gwen, south coast NSW
