Just wanted to stop by and mention how much his music, acting, and life have helped and inspired me. Also, I am heartened to see that his website is obviously created and managed by a friend or loved one, not a corporation. Keep it real, Y'all and Thanks!

Bobby Darin has been my all-time favorite singer, songwriter and actor, who was very gifted, talented and quite frankly America's national treasure in my opinion.
I have recently re-discovered his music once again and I am constantly amazed at how amazing he was. Although he may be gone he will never be forgotten.
Thanks for all that you do to keep his memory alive!

I knew that Bobby was destined to take his career in a different direction when I bought an extended play 45 RPM album that was taken from his eponymous titled first LP album, Bobby Darin. In addition to Splish Splash, his first big hit, there was the standard (I Found) A Million Dollar Baby in A Five & Ten Cent Store. He obviously borrowed his style on that track from Frank Sinatra.

In New York City Mack the Knife was #1 for 14 weeks. I also had a Decca 45 with Dealer in Dreams on one side and Silly Willy on the other. Dealer in Dreams has, unfortunately, been neglected. It was terrific.

He should have had a longer time to grace us with. We became poorer when he died.

Rest in peace. I was born much after you passed, but I have so many fond memories of your songs. Thank you, for them all.
