You guys rock my world. I've done some urban infiltration but nothing like the brewery caves. BTW I've worked for a high-voltage research facility owned by a power company. Stay away from the high voltage, it can literally fly right through the air and pop you like a firecracker.

When I am at work and bored out of my mind, I always start looking for things on the internet I wouldn't necc. look for at home with more things to do. I stumbled upon this website looking for stuff on insane asylums, and have now been on it for the past 2.5 hours. Without a doubt, the best website I have ever been on in my life! Keep doing this stuff! I wish to God I knew you guys so I could do this stuff with you. You not only explore these buildings, but give educated insite to what they were in their prime, which I thinks makes you all really smart guys. Good to know I am not the only one who looks up at an abandoned building and would do anything to go inside of it!

In regards to the stick hut, I didn't read all the comments so someone else may have posted about it but my friend said that the city actually destroyed it. They brought giant machines to tear it down. I feel bad for Badger, he worked so hard on it!

Love the site. Reminds me of my youth... (I'm 42 so I gave it up a few years ago). We used to do much the same stuff you guys do. I recall the new and abandoned buildings, the abandoned Titan missle silos south of Boise, the steam tunnels at the Univeristy of Idaho, and so on.

Max, keep up the good work once you get off academic suspension. Scan like a fiend and post soon. D

Excellent site, ive always been into this kind of thing. I know of two secret military installataions around my area. A 14 foot razorwire fence is as far as ive gotten though, one of them is made to look abandoned, but it's not. theres alot of old tunnels around here, some used as drainage, sewage. Theirs even on smaller tunnel network that was supposed to be used for a housing developement and shopping mall but the mall was never built do to protesting. It took me and a friend 2 hours to crawl through it, all we had for light was a "Bic" lighter;)

Trespassing is illegal. Urban adventuring is dangerous. Do NOT go to these places and/or do what we do.
You could be fined, arrested, hurt, killed, or all of the above. Action Squad does not promote the activities portrayed on this website; rather, this website should serve as a safe and societally acceptable means for people to experience activities of a dangerous and legally questionable nature from the comfort and safety of their homes.

COME ON! We have a fun squad here in north st paul(consisting of me and about 9 of my good friends), we dont have the resources to do what you guys do, but we have a good time with what we got, and have A LOT of digial video tapeing, and editing, experance. And ALWAYS Looking for a new adventrue, you guys should hit us up sometime, i bet we could show you guys a crazy time!

I just read that the Decathalon Club in Bloomington is being torn down starting today. I had always intended on exploring it but just never got around to it. Is there anybody else out there who did and possibly took some pictures. It would be great to see and hear about it.

I have just spent the past 3 and a half hours exploring your site. This has been the most entertaining read I've had in quite awhile. Seeing the U of M stuff was pretty sick...I was up at the U last year (taking a year off), and always entertained the idea of doing a little exploring. I don't think I've managed to read half of the stories, but seeing I have work in about 3 hours, I'll have to save it for tomorrow night. peace out

I was on my way home from work about 3:15 in the afternoon, listening
to KSTP AM 1500 - Joe O'Brian was filling in for Joe Soucheray that day, and mentioned that he was surfing the net for information about the caves after the accident earlier in the week. He said that he came across your site and gave out the name of your site. I had forgotten it by the time I came home, and did a Google search on "caves tunnels mines Mississippi Minnesota " and your site came up as the number one hit.

My buddies and I use to do a lot of the same stuff you guys do ( about 15 years ago ). We have been in the Phalen tunnel, all the way back to where it ends, a number of different cat walks underneath bridges that go over the river , and a lot of the caves off of Plato street
in St. Paul. We even traversed into an old abandoned warehouse that
use to be just over the Wabasha bridge on the other side of the Mississippi (which is probably not still there ) crawling up between two stone smoke stacks to gain access to the second floor roof , and in through the window on the second floor. We found a bunch of old barrels with a bunch of what seemed like toxic waste in them, and explored the old warehouse.

I totally understand what you guys do , its a lot of fun. Your a lot
better equipped then we ever were, with rappelling gear and inflatable rafts, etc.

Keep up the great site - I am an I.T. guy for a large corporation , and
would say that it looks very professional and definitely has awesome
content. It definitely stirred up some old memories :)
I have it bookmarked and will keep checking back.

I did this stuff when I was a kid and always thought I was a bad kid
for doing it; now maybe I was not such a bad kid after all!....

I am way to safe and comfortable to even thing of doing any thing
with danger around it now, but still am curious enough to want to explore
this area, if safe and legal.....

Thanks for your work!.....any thing that add's to the public
knowledge bank, is a good thing,,,,retired and watching....

HAHAHA!!! I really did end up recruiting my friend and we just got back from a 3 mile trudge through my city's pitch dark sewer system!! It was so freaking awesome. We went through all kinds of water-filled pipes and up ladders and a car actually went over my head when I climbed these rusty old ladder rungs from like 50 yrs ago and tried to escape (no kidding; my new claim to fame) I got covered in all manner of sewer sludge and we ended up finally finding a way out in a residential area on the other side of town!! We climbed out of the manhole like convicts and starting running around the street high fiving as these people stared at us in amazement from their front porch. That was the best part--the looks on those faces. It was awesome. I have this website to thank for inspiration. Now we're going to scout out new territories to conquer!! Might've been stupid to be so conspicuous but we were in there for hours and just wanted to find a way out towards the end. All of the previous manholes were rusted shut until the final one. Just awesome, yeah.

I thought that I might be the only one with this sence of exporation. (I can't spell so don't freak out if I don't spell correctly) I reasonatly went to Paris, France and about to go again. I kept finding myself in back allie ways. Finding a place that few would go. We went south of Paris and I found a place that, wasn't easy to find, led to a old roof with all sorts of cool things. This was my first kind of exploring that I must confess is weak but still. Now I work at Forest Lake's Rainbow Foods. Finding things that might have been covered for years, running through air ducts, among other things. My friend and I went to his work (before it closed) Rainbow foods in Blaine, off 65hwy. Jumping over a stand we discovered a big tunnel. Well it was kind of small but still to us ametures it was nice. Just big enough for a single man it went through the whole mall. You could even go up through mabey Video Update. We not being stealers thought nothing of it. Getting there might be a challenge now that Rainbow is closed. But soon I will try again. We didn't get to explore as much as I would have wanted to but there is always tommarow....Right?

A wonderful tour de Mpls. My friends and I recently found your site; It made us go back and review the maps that we drew and the pictures that we took in those same passages in our day (20 years ago). The internet is an amazing place :)
