Bobby Darin is absolutely the most consummate performer and entertainer; there hasn’t been anyone like him since?? So grateful for sites as this, to capture and relive the memories. It’s been almost 50 years since he has been gone and is still missed greatly as if it were yesterday??

So glad to be able to visit this site. Thank you tribute-pages administrators, contributors, and donors.

Bobby Darin became a legend in his own time, and, thankfully, his time was my time, too.

The tunes I love most include: Long Time Movin', Happy, Simple Song of Freedom, and the Darin cover of Dylan's I'll Be Your Baby Tonight. -- ??

Simple story: in the summer of '68, I think it was, I slipped into the Philadelphia Folk Fest by way of a back-end "portal" only we locals would know. There in an unmoved field standing on the step up to a shaky, old shed was a nice-looking young man practicing some guitar tunes including "If I were a Carpenter." Before sitting down on the thick grass to enjoy what seemed like my own personal concert, I snapped and later developed a B&W picture of Tim Hardin. 'Saw him on stage, later that night, and bought one of his albums much later that night. He was low-key, as in quiet, not low notes. I smiled inside when the tune became a Bobby Darin hit. My young self thought it had an investment in the song!

I very enjoyed seeing & hearing Bobbie Darin on a PBS broadcast.
It’s a very long time since I last heard his voice.
I remember him on the radio & TV occasionally. I was very young but I liked
him a lot.
I appreciated his voice very much as I got older.
Tonight on PBS however, I really appreciated his voice, style & his quiet energy-
Very, very nice. He became better than I remembered - I can now really appreciate
his quiet energy & style as an adult. We lost him too soon.

In less than 2 years Bobby will have been gone for 50 years BUT to me he will ALWAYS be the greatest entertainer that ever stepped on a stage.

I used to have one star I dearly wished to have seen live, Elvis, now I have two. I am relatively new to Bobby Darin. Yes i knew of Mack the Knife and Splish Spalsh but two weeks ago life changed and will never be the same again. I am now a Bobby Darin fan. I search and discover his music, films, film scores, comedy, impresions and clips of him.daily. i am amazed at his endless talent. I am in awe of how much he did in an all too short life. I am humbled by the human he was and strived to be. He wanted to be better. His starting place was being the best he could be. I've loved learning abput his start in life, early ups and downs that shaped his view, how he earned his chances and delicered when given them. How he stood up ten feet tall to help others around him that werent given those options. I search for every photo, live footage and written word. He brings a smile with all, especially when he smiled, never more than with his family. How i wish i could have seen you, heard you, dreamed of talking to you for just a minute, a memory with you. Thank you,i love your work, probably would have given you a kiss too. Xx

My favourite singer who, except for a Rheumatic heart would have eclipsed even Frank Sinatra as one of America’s greatest song writers and singers of all genres
