Hi,

I'm an active member of Cave Clan and I'm travelling through the US and Canada soon. I will be visiting Minneapolis in July to see a friend and would love to meet local explorers who can show me some good urbex sites. Is there an urbex forum for Minneapolis? Visit the Sydney Cave Clan site to see the sort of things we do here, and contact me on email if you like.

cheers,

floss

Keep up the good work. Saw your site in the Urban Explorers Movie Trailer, thought I would check it out and I am glad I did! I am a member on uer.ca ( nagscanada ) hit me up there, and take care.
Oh yeah, WHAT is the guestbook entry below me? Dude from Africa looking for a date? I know there are bots out there and stuff, but really, I think this guy is real and actually took the time. Maybe he mistook "Action Squad" as a dating service ;)

love your page. I did some exploring myself in the underground tunnels at Luther College in Decorah, Ia. I knew the utility tunnels existed because every time it snowed their would be trails across campus (especially on one parking lot) where the snow would melt in an even, four foot wide path. My friends and I eventually got into the tunnels and were even tempted to turn off the water to the dorms before finals, but resisted the urge. I've been exploring ever since. I've now graduated, but I'm still exploring whenever possible. Keep up the good work! Brent

Oddly enough I just learned about all of these amazing urban adventure things from National Geographic Adventurer. They had a story about the catacombs under Paris, so I decided to check out someother stuff on the net. I am from MN, so I know about a lot of these places, but never thought it was so extenisive. You guys are doing some pretty awesome stuff, keep up the good work! Next time I get a chance to swing back to MN I will be checking that stuff out. Give me a holler if you want an extra body!

You guys rock! I wish we had some shit like that around here to explore, we mainly have derelict (abandoned for almost a century) railroad tunnels, mines, and mining towns around here, even then you gotta drive hella far. Theres an abandoned cement silo in Concrete WA, we found a mint copy of "Industry Standards" from 1967 in there once, it's still there we left it in the name of good ethics! I'd like to explore the Skookum Slope coal mine, but I've heard the air is well, lacking in oxygen.

Awesome site. I have loved this stuff since I was a teenager whose father was stationed with the USAF in Germany in the early 1960's. Weekends were spent with ropes and flashlights, exploring remnants of the Siegfried Line bunkers and pillboxes that had survived, though damaged. Three or four stories underground looking for Hitler's diary or a mint condition Mauser and all we ever found were beer cans and used condoms, but what an adventure. Keep up the good work!

I like your site. I'm glad another explorer out there was smart enough to take pictures and post them. I've been in many of the St. Paul caves including the gated off "echo" cave in lilydale. If you've been in a cave referred to as horseshoe I would like to see pictures of that, It's the one with a large room at the innermost point with hundreds of votive candleholders carved in the walls and a "stage" with seats carved. In this cave is a vertical tunnel called the "stairway to heaven" one of the most peculiar tunnels since it goes up at about a 70 degree angle for about 100 ft then plains off straight into the bluff and slowly gets smaller and smaller. thanks for doing what you do. and let me know if you need another member ;)O btw, i've also been in the ohio hill cave (you call it the yogurt brewery or something)inside is a metal frame from a strange table with gears on it for rotation. If you know what i'm talking about you should post this too. my friends and i did research on it and found out it is an antique otopsy table dating to around the 20's or 30's.

Hey action squad,

My name is Pokey Rusher and i am a reporter with the Dink a paper in Minneapolis. We are based out of dinkytown and are just starting out our paper. We are very interested in doing an article on the urban spelunking you guys do around minneapolis and the state. Now I understand that what you guys do is highly illegal and needs to stay discreet and names can't be involved. I am not interested in anyway of finding out what your names are or for that matter to bust you folks in anyway. Please contact me and let me know if you are interested in doing an article. Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

Nice site! i have just come back from NYC great place to do UE i admire the way Americans look after their history, in England we take it for granted because we have so much of it around. i live near 7 mansions going back to at least the 1500's and people just dont care. america being a new country it respects it's history. please feel free to visit my site it is not specific for the UK dispite the name...
