A home away from home with all necessary supplied except your clothes and your food
The beds were comfy, with enough blankets for cold Knysna weather. The additional touches provided, eg sherry, sweets, chocoate biscuits, enough milk in the fridge for that much needed first cup of coffee on arrival. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash etc that were supplied was all luxury items and plenty of them. What a wonderful home away from home.

La vue de l'appartement est magnifique et il possède toutes les facilités nécessaires. La cuisine est équipée de matériels de très bonnes qualités. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Après avoir réservé plus d'une dizaine de locations en Afrique du Sud, c'est l'un des plus agréable. Je recommande tout particulièrement, vous serez comme chez vous !

Very warm welcome and all the little touches like sweets, bottle of wine etc on arrival ... The view from the apartment is beautiful and it has all the necessary facilities. The kitchen is equipped with very good quality materials. The owners are very welcoming. Having booked more than a dozen rentals in South Africa, this is one of the nicest. I especially recommend it, you will be at home!

Wow, what an amazing cottage you have here. Right from our arrival and seeing the tremendous view we have loved staying here. We have visited South Africa five times and this is the longest we have stayed in one place ! We are so glad we did. Hopefully in a few year when we are retired we will be able to stay six weeks instead of six days. This really is the perfect home from home. Thanks to Liz and Neville for their help and tips and all the lovely little touches.

Thanks Neville and Liz for a lovely time at Prospect Cottage. We have really enjoyed our time here. You are excellent hosts - from the extra touches like a full tea tray and biscuits to the great recommendations of where to visit. Imogen is 4 years old but we still loved the Jubilee Creek walk through the forest to the waterfall. Plus Buffels Bay was our favourite beach. On our last day we enjoyed the boat trip to the Knysna Heads and back but mostly Prospect Cottage with its amazing views and the monkeys in the garden made us feel so at home. Thank you for your wonderful house. and letting us stay.

Just to let you know we have seen the weather forecast and as it's not great for tomorrow (and it's one of our last days in SA) we've decided to head off earlier and go to our next destination. We've had a wonderful time at Prospect cottage, what a wonderful spot - we saw monkeys in the garden today during our breakfast and the view is just amazing.
Thanks for letting us stay and for all the lovely touches you thought of such as the tea tray and biscuits, marshmallows, toiletries in every bathroom. Also you're recommendations were great - we did the Jubilee walk yesterday and spent the morning today at Buffels. Bay, we're about to go on the Knysna heads boat trip too and have dinner at The Quays. We will give you a great review!
