I just wanted to share with you my thoughts on what a great source of communication the SoulPitt is for the African-American Community in Pittsburgh, Pa. I recently moved back to Pittsburgh after being gone for many and have found there is no social entertainment for adults over fort y in our community that is considered safe. The SoulPitt opens doors to all sorts of activities in all age groups and allows me a chance to get out and about in our community. I thank you for doing a great job of reaching so many of us in 2006 and look forward to seeing you out and about in 2007.

Our young, African American professionals finally taking a stand to gain some recognition in our regiion for the contributions we as a race have made and continue to make. I believe Pittsburgh offers many opportunities for assertive entrepreneurs.

What DON'T you like about Pittsburgh?:

Too much segregation between neighborhoods and programs within them. Not enough collaboration between organizations, businesses, programs, etc. to broaden opportunities and resources.
