Hi all
Just a suggestion, but I was thinking is it worth having two groups doing the chaingang on Thursday evenings. Maybe have a slower group go out 5-10 min before the rest and cut across before policemans hill if needs be? I'm sure it'll put people off if theres only a 'hammer & tongs'group on a Thursday but it could be used to bring people on and also a hare and hounds scenario for the faster group to try and catch. Anyways let me know your thoughts, we are meeting tomorrow at 6.00pm at the Harvester.
As for Sunday at Ilton, myself, Deano, Peter are definites along with Alistair and Neil. Ian's trying to swap shifts and I reckon Tommy's going to make it too.

This w/end coming 21st April, the club has a 15ml time trial organised. Starts 10am at Penpergwm on Abergavenny to Raglan road, just in case you were turning up at Parke-Davis bus stop. Doesn't stop you riding out and seeing what goes on then continue your ride or, join club and compete your fit enough.

Had my first Sunday ride out with the club on 7th April, thoroughly enjoyable and thanks to Jeff for leading the way. Plan to go again this week and bringing a mate along. Thanks to Roger Wood for inviting me, now plan to join the club.

Completed my first ever sportive sunday, 65 miles in terrible weather conditions, dont want to see another climb for a while, 5500ft in one day is more than enough for my legs, feeling the pain this morning.I notice there is a TT this sunday, if my membership is accepted in time perhaps i can enter, never done one of these either. do i just turn up on sunday to enter?
