Hi Bob & the 3 amigo's,
Gee, it was nice to see the rear ends of Doc & Bill moving along the trail. Then to see B.O.B & Bill pulling! The country is very pretty and getting green after a winters nap. Keep all the wonderful pictures coming and do be careful. Hershey is a beautiful dog too! Take care and please tell Doc I still think is the most handsome of the lads.

Hey Wagonteamster and all of your traveling companions. (Including your hardy fans.) We have enjoyed the short trip so much. The boys look amazingly well and muscled!!! It was nice to be onboard with Dottie and the rest of the gang. Looks like all the hot dogs he snitched from us on past trips have been good to Hershey. He is as well filled out as the boys. Hope to be on lots more of your short trips. Beautiful scenenry. You always manage to bring us through some great places. Thanks heaps. Without you, your eyes and camera, I would miss out on so much beauty in nature and horseflesh. What a way to travel. Thanks Bob. Good luck to you and Jacquie. Too bad the Hot tub was a little small to accomodate all of us, but glad you got a chance to enjoy it. God bless.

Mr. Wagonteamster, welcome home!!! The boys look beautiful. So glad to hear you, Jacquie, the Amigos (and us of course), are going for a ride. I AM READY!!! I cleaned the shotgun seat, painted it to match the wagon, and all of us are ready to ride. The wagon looks great. We are ready to board her as soon as you say gidedyup!!! It has been a long winter. We are now green, beautiful green! Iris's are blooming, so are the locusr trees. Spring flowers are coming right along. The azalea bushes are in full bloom and are gorgeous. Too bad you all aren't coming to see Indiana again. Are you? I know...wishful thinking. Get that camera busy and let us see through your eyes again. We are waiting for that book too. God bless you all.

Hey Bob and Jacquie

The weekend trip sounds wonderful! The shelf on the back of the Biscuit Wagon looks good. Did you do any work on the inside too? Spring may have sprung here in northwest Washington too, but being close to the ocean sometimes makes me wonder.

I am horrified for Chuck Reagan! I will keep Chuck and Mary in my thoughts and hope the Cosmos is listening. Here's to his speedy recovery!

Howdy All y'all,
That pic of 'Hollywood' B.O.B. looks like he was eating good while daddy was in Newbraskie!!! Get the wagon-work done Bob and let's do some cross-country scouting... And 'round-out' the boys a little bit!!! Put a chuck-box on there, with doors on it and padlocks, so, Bill & Doc can't open them!!! Make it 24" deep and 4-5 foot tall, with 12" shelves and you can haul a bunch of extras!!!
Hope we get to travel soon!!!

Welcome back to our favorite Wagonteamster. So good to read the tale of the Harrier. Our daughter is into nature photography and has some beautiful shots of bald eagles, their juveniles, the nestlings, and red tailed hawks among many other species. Such beautiful birds. Just as beautiful were the pictures of your new home and B.O.B. Guess Doc and Bill were too busy to pose for you. I know all of us in the "family" are really looking forward to seeing the "backcountry" from your perspective along with the gorgeous rears of our favorite equine friends. God bless and welcome home once again. As Larry the Cable Guy says..."Get 'er done" and as we all say...let's go...we are ready!!!

Did you see what " bamabear4 " had to say about you ?? I laughed so hard, my teeth fell out !! Doesn't she know that 99% of women in this world want 1. A Big House & 2. Shiny Fast Transportation & 3. A Stay at Home Man to say ' Yes Dear ' to every request ???? There you are with a Tiny House on Wheels, 3 MPH Transportation that doesn't Shine,& YOU Seldom stay at home !!!! Think about it.......Only 1% of women in today's world can handle that kind of insecurity. Doesn't Bamabear understand how the odds are stacked against you ???? It's a REAL STRUGLE for a RAMBLIN MAN without a GUITAR or a MONKEY !!!! I'm Done.

Hello again, Wagonteamster and our Amigos, Mom and Dad, and virtual family, Jacquie and Hershey. What a day. The first day I have been able to be outside. It felt so good. The temperature was just right, a nice breeze blowing and sun. Actual sun!!! I really felt alive. I trust all of you have seen Bob's latest video. I know his friends have a new respect for him. Reuben and Royale are beautiful animals, just not "our" beautiful animals. To see the Wagonteamster accomplish the training of them in such a short span of time is amazing. I, too, have a new respect for him. To see him harness them together for the first time..all I can say is WOW!! He stayed on his feet, had the boys under control, that is almost a miracle in that span of time. My congratulations, Bob. Had you done that by being with them 24 hours a day for a few weeks, I would expect it. But to work an 8 hour shift, and do this on a weekend. Amazing. I hope you all watch it. Looking forward to seeing you soon at home. We would love to see the boys and their reaction to having you back. God bless and give you a safe trip home.

Bob you have that team working real good for just a few hours time of working with them. As all
draft horse people know these gentle giants are so willing to learn that it makes our fear they
will blow up anytime something new comes at them, seem totally foolish. I remember the first time
I put a saddle on a mare I had. I walked her around in a round pen for about twenty minuets before
deciding to try getting to set on her. Well after I got my shorts in a tight enough wad to get on her,
the mare sorta looked around at my, as if to say,"It took you long enough to get on, now where we going?"

Judging by the way the weather looks in your photos, it must finally be getting warmer there.
Maybe the drive back will be just as warm. Good Luck. ljr

Well as you may of noticed I'm Taunia I have not known Bob long but I think he is just an amazing person and I will never be able to thank him enough. He is a kind man with such a tender heart and I'm so proud to call him my friend. He is so amazing with Ruben and Royal. It is like the boys know that he is tender hearted and would never put them in danger the boys trust him so. I truly believe Bob loves this as much as they love playing his training games. I have learned so much from Bob, It is so wonderful to see Bob work his magic up close. He is always so calm and gentle but firm when needed. I have only heard him call Ruben a name at the Second lesson when he decided to buck very close to Bob I will be honest it even scarred me, Bob handled it like a pro and kept on Ruben until he started listening to what Bob was asking from him. As you all may noticed Ruben is the thinker and is the tester, Bob says he is a smart one. Royal is the laid back one of the two he is my pleaser. They are twins but very different from one another. I want to thank you all for following Bobs Blogs with the training of the boys I love reading all your comments. I will say I'm gonna miss Bob greatly when he leaves for Oregon I also know the boys will too. I know the boys and I will be starting a new adventure thanks to bob. Thank you again for your amazing gift that you have given to the boys and I God Bless you. Taunia

If your new book is going to be anything like your forward, I am going to need a huge box of Kleenex sitting next to me! My son had Duchenes Muscular Dystrophy and was in a wheelchair for several years before he passed on to his next adventure. your blogs. On a side note, my brother Les has a outstanding yearling stud colt that he has bred

Grand Champion Stallion as a colt. Well keep the wind too your back, and good luck.

Howdy W.T./H.W. & all the ships at sea :

Attn. Connie.. Nice post.. You understand that camping in snow & mud & freezing weather & slippery roads is not a healthy past-time. The term ' rest ' however, only applies to the horses. The summer travel is rest time for W.T. He is presently working 8 or more hours/ 5 days/ week, to replenish the wallet. Summer fun is his rest. He would like to finish the ' horse training ' in Blair, if the rain & mud would subside on weekends. Hopefully he wants a couple more sessions with Royal & Reuben before mid-April, when he is planning a return to Oregon. I'm sure you understand.

Thanks for writing, POP

I was quietly waiting for more virtual adventures, when I decided to try out another tack. So I bought a copy of Bob's Guide to Modern Wagon Travel. I enjoyed it immensly and it eased the need for a new fix. I also go back and reread some of the older material for bits of wisdom I may have missed before. So Bob, enjoy your "rest", and come back to us when you are ready.

Come on, now... I check in every so often also... but it really hasn't been that long... I KNOW it seems like it has been months since the last leg of the last trip (in the wagon)... but it really hasn't been...
I miss reading about the travels as much as anyone... but we do need to let Bob have a little "rest" lol... I"m at "rest" now... lol... (I have to "rest" on my birthday... ain't that swell... :)) this is where I usually check in on "our" travels... It is fun to log in and see where we made it to in the last 24 hours or so... even at 3 miles per hour... I have 4 others I check in on... and NO ONE is moving... all grew roots and settled in... may have to go out and do something of my own...
Any way... Bob I hope and pray all is well in your world... let us know when you can how things are going... and to the rest of you... log in here and keep us apprised of what is going on in your world... let's use Bob's blog to blog our own... lol...

Hail, Hail, the gang's all here and mostly accounted for! In spite of the falling off the shotgun seat so many times, or beling licked like a popcycle by Hershey,I guess none of us are the worse for wear. LOL. It is so good to see all of the familiar names (even if I have to scroll back a bit to find you) and know you survived this stupid winter. So have I, but only with a lot of help from my doctors. I NEED ANOTHER VIRTUAL TRIP, WAGONTEAMSTER!!! I really don't care if it is just a tour around the house, the barn, or the outback, whatever!!! I have traveled via the Shotgun Seat so long, it pumps through my veins now. I admit it, Dottie, I AM ADDICTED. It is all the Wagonteamster's fault. His splendid descriptions, the bounce of those beautiful horse's buns, the jangle of the harness, the gentle coaxing to get them to pull together, the beautiful aroma of horse sweat and digested hay, even though I will admit, there have been times I wouldn't dare strike a match. LOL. I LOVE IT!! So hurry up and finish this stint at the plant and get home to the Amigo's Wagonteamster. Your loyal following is waiting. God bless you all. Sue

Boy it does seem like we are a broken family!!!
Good to hear from Norma, Butterbean, Larry, and a few days ago it was Sue.
Where's Mom, Pop, and KatZ?
I like the way you put it, Butterbean - we sit here 'lurkin'.
God bless,
Dottie

My friend, Judy and I think there is nothing to do if we can't read about your adventures with the boys, Bob.
Are you ever going to take another trip? We got to see all kinds of scenery through your eyes.
