I have been sitting on this for such a long time as I was working on two NY lines. Now I am turning my attention to my PA lines and Brader is one of them. I am a direct descendant of Thomas and Mary Brader. I have narrowed Thomas' father to being most likely either George or Henry Brader. I think it is most likely that it is George because of the lack of number of children in general and the fact that the census year after George dies, an old woman is living with the newly found Thomas in the same city. I think it is likely that Thomas married and lived with his parents and his father then died and so he became head of the household. I am still unraveling it all but wanted to thank you for putting up such a helpful website.

Upon checking the stats for Catherine Kressley(daughter of Jesse,son of Bernhard), I noticed that one of Catherine and B.F. Hollenbach's children is missing. Their youngest, Mary Jane Hollenbach married Edgar Hamm and had many children with him. They lived near Kempton. Please add this to the facts. One of their other daughters. Tillie Hollenbach, married to Robert Reed, was my grandmother.

I just visited one of Mary Jane's children the other year; I think she is still alive.

Thank you! I received the mimeographed copy of Alexander Laughlin's family tree when my Grandmother, Ethel Pearl Miller passed away. She was married to Carmen Wellington Parks. My Dad is listed as adopted but family scuttlebutt says that he is the biological son of Carmen and Ethel. Has anyone been able to trace Alexander's family roots across the pond to Scotland? It si tuly amazing to see the size of the tree and how many cousins I have!

I've always had Patrick Meehan and Mary O'Reilly as Bernard's parents. I noticed you have Owen Meehan and Ann Braddon as Bernard's parents. I came across your website but found it overwhelming with all the names and generations. So I figured it wouldn't hurt to contact you (which I attempted to, but it came back as undeliverable). I was wondering if you have any family connections with a Laughlin McLaughlin (1779-1881), he had a son named Samuel McLaughlin (1802-1869), a grandson named Charles McLaughlin (1836-1926) and a great grand-daughter named Lucretia McLaughlin (1883-1913). Lucretia is my Great, Great Grandmother. I have had a hard time connecting and verifying who Laughlin's parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc were. Thank you!!
