Just a note to indicate that Eliza Ann Maxwell (in the Flood lineage) was wife of John McKee, she died a few year after have married John McKee and had a son by the name William. After her death, John McKee married Sarah Hall and had 2 more children : Samuel and Margaret.

Robert also had a son named Robert James Kressley, my grandfather, who was born in 1910. I have information on him and his lineage if you are interested. The Floods were living in the part of Hemmingford that became Havelock, by the division of Hemmingford in half. Andrew Flood and Graham Douglas were living in front of the farm where I live. Graham's father was living where we live now. Guillaume from Québec.

I descend from Owen's son Andrew Meehan and Mary Margaret Campbell -&rt;Jane "Jennie" Meehan VanSlyke-&rt; Lillian VanSlyke Murray-&rt;Mary Jane "Jennie" Murray Bzoskie was my grandmother. Would love to hear from descendants of the brothers especially if they've taken a DNA test. Would like to compare results and notes.

The new website is a braw effort. Thank you for what you ha'e accomplished. Your update finally provided me with the previously elusive Scottish connection. I am researching my family tree - my great great grandfather was David Madill b 1808 in Ireland, married Jane Hamill. I can't trace the family back further than David - do you have any earlier information? I have heard "rumours" that the Madills, although they did spend quite some time in Ireland, are from somewhere else originally, perhaps northern England, France, or eastern Europe. I have used your Madill Family History Page, then dated 2012, that my son Matthew noticed after it was mentioned in the Kitchener-Waterloo Record (newspaper), and have found it invaluable, I have input the information from it into my Ancestry Family Tree. Nice and interesting to read your pages! Google led me to your websites. I have several relatives in Northern Michigan, in the Saginaw-area. The origine of my family is located in Hassendorf and Worth between Hamburg and Bremen. Later they went to Freiburg (Elbe) and Glueckstadt (Elbe).
We have a coat if arms too - but diffently from yours. There a no common family members in our family.

I really enjoyed your website. I have additional lineage information on the Kressley family, the lineage on Bernard Kressley. If you are interested I can provide that information.

I have been sitting on this for such a long time as I was working on two NY lines. Now I am turning my attention to my PA lines and Brader is one of them. I am a direct descendant of Thomas and Mary Brader. I have narrowed Thomas' father to being most likely either George or Henry Brader. I think it is most likely that it is George because of the lack of number of children in general and the fact that the census year after George dies, an old woman is living with the newly found Thomas in the same city. I think it is likely that Thomas married and lived with his parents and his father then died and so he became head of the household. I am still unraveling it all but wanted to thank you for putting up such a helpful website.

Upon checking the stats for Catherine Kressley(daughter of Jesse,son of Bernhard), I noticed that one of Catherine and B.F. Hollenbach's children is missing. Their youngest, Mary Jane Hollenbach married Edgar Hamm and had many children with him. They lived near Kempton. Please add this to the facts. One of their other daughters. Tillie Hollenbach, married to Robert Reed, was my grandmother.

I just visited one of Mary Jane's children the other year; I think she is still alive.

Thank you! I received the mimeographed copy of Alexander Laughlin's family tree when my Grandmother, Ethel Pearl Miller passed away. She was married to Carmen Wellington Parks. My Dad is listed as adopted but family scuttlebutt says that he is the biological son of Carmen and Ethel. Has anyone been able to trace Alexander's family roots across the pond to Scotland? It si tuly amazing to see the size of the tree and how many cousins I have!
