I don't want to rave too much, as it'll seem like I have some affiliation with Alan of Sierra MTB - I can assure you this is not the case.
Booked a long weekend, end of June 2019, 4 days biking.
Efficient shuttle service, both to and from Malaga airport (20 mins to apartments) and uplift each day to various locations above the Costa del Sol.
Knowledgeable and friendly guides each day - rides tailored for each group - anything you want, from flowy singletrack to rocky DH tracks - and everything in-between.
Fabulous breakfast each morning and a fridge full of beer, every evening - a mountain bikers paradise!
Also went above and beyond when easyJet cancelled our flight home - picked us up from airport and put us up for two extra nights - really can't fault them.
We'll be back, for sure - thanks Alan, Mary, Alexis, Carmen, Chris, James and Emily

Just back from a great long first weekend with Sierra MTB. Not totally sure what to expect but it was perfect for our purposes, for an occasional big birthday away trip for a bunch of ageing, balding, greying, middle aged but not quite over the hill yet bikers. So a big thanks to Alan & Mary for transport,food, beer and restaurant recommendations and John & Emily for taking us out on the trails and looking after us- they pitched it just right with the ocassional hazard warning as required. Also to Sean for helping unlucky Gary back! and last but not least, Alexis. On a practical point the accommodation is clean and tidy and really close to the beach. The bike fleet is well maintained with a mix of giant trance, commencal and transition bikes, well specced and including dropper posts, which you will use. As for the riding the day starts with a great leisurely breakfast of your choosing (thanks again to Mary), with plenty of snacks and spare fuel available for the day. Then it's load the vans followed by a morning ride, spot of lunch and another route back to base in the late afternoon. Be prepared, there is fire road / on road uphill but for those looking for a mix of uplift, shorter high speed runs, longer flowing forest single track, or lumps, jumps, rocks etc Sierra MTB can find it for you. Once back it's beers (seemingly endless supply) in the garden house or by the pool, on to a recommended restaurant (or just explore the back streets), back to base and then repeat. I'd say we'd all be more than happy to return and a big thanks again form all of us.

Thanks for a fantastic weekend we thoroughly enjoyed it, the guides are an absolute credit to the company and do so much towards making your trip as fantastic as it can be! Clive, Emily, John and Sean all get 10/10 from our visit... we will be back again once Alex’s broken shoulder heals up! Already looking forward to our next trip... This was my fitht visit at Alan´s place and after four years brake. Everything was briliant like at the previous years. Various tracks to ride, frienly personnel and well guided for the slowly and faster bikers. An extra bonus was a weather and very nice visitors group on my week. My strongly recommend.
