In the UK the weather was cold, wet, windy, dull and dark. Riding many of the off-road trails involved a lot of sliding around in the mud. The obvious solution was a week's off-road trail riding in the south of Spain and riding with Sierra MTB offered the ideal deal. From providing a transfer from Malaga airport to Fuengirola, to comfortable beachside accommodation all our needs for a winter sun riding holiday were met by Alan, Alexis, Tom, Alex and the Sierra MTB team.
Staying by the beach with van transport into the hills provided the best of both worlds. In the evening we had access to Fuengirola's bars and restaurants, during the day we had transport to the hills and expert guidance, tailored to our preferences (and capabilities) on the forest singletracks and X-country trails. This ensured we had a week's riding with the optimal balance of challenge and interest. There's still much to explore - we'll be back again. Raph

Many thanks Alan, Alexis, Tom and Alex for your patience with my limited ability and ensuring I had every bit as enjoyable a holiday as the speedier youngsters. I recommend you to everyone as one of the great things is how you cater for all abilities and ages, taking the time and effort to carefully plan the routes according to what the guests are looking for each day - which may vary from day to day. Many thanks to Carmen and Mary for the great breakfasts and ensuring we had everything we needed at the accommodation. We had an awesome 4 days riding trip with Team Sierra. There is lots of nice trails for all different skill levels in the region. Guides are great and the whole team is very friendly. I can highly recommend team Sierra!

Great rides/routes especially if you are fit and have some experience of rocky terrain and downhills - although easier routes are available.
Excellent guides, excellent accommodation and breakfast with liquid refreshment provided free.
Within 50 metres of beach and nice pool in the gardens.
Highly recommended.

Returned for another great weeks mountain biking with Sierra MTB.
Starting with the prompt airport pick up and transfer to clean comfortable accommodation.
With a variety of trails suited to most, the knowledgeable guides choose trails applicable to ones skill level thus ensuring that no one is under any pressure to ride trails that they are not comfortable with.
Tasty breakfast included, lovely friendly staff that treat you like family.
It’s little wonder that they have such a large volume of repeat custom.

We planned 2 weeks in Spain, and couldn't resist including the 3-day version of the White Villages Tour as our starter.
This tour is the first 3 days of the 5-day version, and includes some amazing scenery, very enjoyable riding and lovely overnight stops.
I hired an e-bike which turned the whole experience into joy as I was first up every hill -instead of last, as I always am otherwise.
Our guide Chris was knowledgeable about the wildlife and the food as well as the riding.
Alan rode with us everyday, getting a taxi back to collect the van - which shows how much he enjoys it!
This trip is about so much more than biking. You get to see the real Andalucia, off the beaten track.
A highlight was the religious procession in Zahara the night we stayed there.

Second visit to Sierra MTB. Three and a half sunny days of pretty full on riding (i'm not a youngster anymore), covering forest singletrack, rocky descents and mountainside fire roads with superb views. Daily uplifts, free beer and snacks and the sea close by for a cooling dip at the end of a days riding. Thanks to all the team and we will no doubt see you again in the future
