Sorry if you think I am not eligible to join but I used to teach at Bush, later Pembroke Comprehensive. I was told about the website and think it is great. I attended the Grammar then Comprehensive school from 1970-1974, relocated for family reasons. I've kept in touch with quite a few people from Pembroke and used to come back to visit fairly regularly until the late 1980's, I'm hoping to make a trip next year.

I've done various types of work, none that I could ever have anticipated whilst at school, and I've ended up as a civil servant working for the DWP (15 years and counting).

I'm currently single, two sons (25 & 22), both graduates, more than I ever managed lol.

I went to Pembroke Grammar School and then Pembroke School from 1970 to 1977. I graduated from Goldsmiths College, London University in 1980.

I've worked overseas all my life and in S.E. Asia since 1989. I live and work in Bangkok Thailand now. Sadly I've never been back to Pembroke.

Great website - brought back many fond memories

After East End Primary School I spent four/five pleasant years at Pembroke Grammar School between 1958 & 1962 before leaving for Barry when my father was transferred by the MOD from Manobier to Cardiff.

My main interest was Agriculture & I was allowed, as a day boy, to drop certain subjects to attend the farm courses - unfortunately my ambitions were curtailed when the family moved to Glamorganshire.

I now live in Knowle, Solihull and have recently retired after 48 years in technical sales to the Construction Industry.

I still consider "Pembroke as home" and visit every year,as a hobby I collect pre 1945 Pembrokeshire postcards, if any reader can assist enhancing my collection I would love to hear from them ( mgphillips1@hotmail.co.uk )

Now live in Ivybridge, Devon. Worked as a secondary school teacher of RS for 37 years in various places but mainly London. Retired in 1966 & now lead very active life, involved with voluntary work & U3A activities. Anyone from my era living in my area? Would love to meet up with someone as I have met no one since leaving school in 1955 to go to Bangor University. No longer have any contact with PD as no family there.
