Any thoughts of performing in Houston? Maybe team up with Delbert McClinton (except come to Houston, not Fort Worth!) I'm a big fan and would love to see you live.

I only have 2 albums, Long Way Home and a compilation. I bought Long Way Home a few years ago in Australia and it is really good. I live in Zimbabwe where there are no shops where cd's and albums can be bought and even in neighboring South Africa the music shops stock mainly mainstream pop these days. However
I also have the Thin Lizzy album Nightlife with still in Love with You on it. Lizzy were my Favourite band growing up so I have all their albums.

Frankie's story is inspiring and the release of Long Way Home via Joe Walsh and friends is touching. I will certainly attempt to obtain more of Frankie's albums in my travels.

Hope things keep going better for you, Frankie! Your songs remain a staple on my playlist as they have been since the days I lived in Scotland (1973-85). Yours is one of the great r & b voices of all time and you are an ace of a songwriter as well, and a hero seeing as how strong you have been, never giving up. I wish you a continuing recovery and awrabest ay. You ought to be in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, but they have weird tastes sometimes.

Comments:

Frankie;

Hope you're doin' well. Last I heard/read, you were recovering. I was a US sailor in the 70's who found himself in Dunoon. One of the pubs had "Be Good To Yourself/Down the Honky-Tonk" on their jukebox. Folk knew I was in the house when it played. Anyway...I have the Chrysalis set and sure wish I had managed to find you live(er...performance wise...). Take care, Mr Miller.
