So sorry to read about Fr Herman's death. Sorry for the loss, that is, but happy for the man!
Will have to settle for viewing his funeral Mass on the web whilst being there in spirit.
May he rest in peace.

I discovered St Charles of Mt Angus today!
I am an Anglican but I sometimes go to the local Catholic Church ( St Philip Neri ) for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. I love holy pictures and leaflets and if there are free ones about the Saints I'll help myself! I picked up a St Charles one and was delighted to see it had a tiny relic on the back. It is now in my oratory where I pray the Divine Office. I have just been exploring St Charles on the internet. His life is so beautiful and like all true Saints he suffered from misunderstandings from those who one would expect to offer him support! He is a special "healing Saint" so I shall place the sick for whom I pray into his care.
May Jesus bless the work of the Shrine and the Fathers who seek to promote St Charles.
St Charles of Mount Argus, pray for us!

Sr Heidi

Blessed day!

I am Joseph Vincent Atanacio of Antipolo City, Philippines.

I would like to ask your kind office for some 2nd or 3rd Class relic of Blessed Charles of Mount Argus and ohter Passionist saints, blesseds, venerables and servants of God (a piece of cloth touched to the saints' relics would do or some relic cards) that I could share with my friends in a Catholic lay group for single men.

It is my dream to visit Marian and Holy shrines but due to monetary constraints, I am unable to do so.

We will really appreciate any relics you could share with us. These would be helpful in our faith and spiritual growth.

Hoping for your generosity.

Thank you and God bless.

Yours to Jesus, through Mary,

I was very priviledged to offer my First Holy Mass at Mount Argus on 13th March 1960. I was assisted by Fr. Anthony Behan CP and Brother Gabriel CP.Wonderful memories of being a young boy in Fr. Paul Marys Crusaders and in the Legion of Mary, Cause of Our Joy Praedidium.Am forever grateful for the marvellous example the Passionist Fathers gave us in the 1940s and 1950s.Eamon P Clarke
