I found your site while browsing information about Vietnam. I have recently made a web page for my brother, James Edward Tooley, who died in Vietnam Dec. 19, 1966. He is buried at Parma Cemetery. A copy of his obituary is posted on the web page. It was printed in the Press Tribune, which in 1966, I believe was called the Nampa Free Press, but I'm not certain of that. You may take the obituary from the website, if you want, or if it works better, I'll type it and send it to you. Let me know.

Thank you for all your hard work at putting this info on the web site. I am researching the family of John D and Florence Barber Harritt, who moved to Canyon Co, Idaho before 1892. I will be requesting some cemetery photos and also appreciate the obits.

Just looked at listing of McPherson, Will 1978 - 1910. William McPherson was born at Lubachoinnich, Ardgay, Ross-shire, Scotland. He was the eighth child of fourteen children born to Donald McPherson and Margaret McLeod. He along with his brothers Angus and Donald as well as their nephew Donald McDonald the son of their sister Andrewina McPherson and Robert Geddes McDonald and their cousin Colin McLeod (Colin McLeod bought Spring Valley Ranch on October 4, 1916 from W C Cleveland and John Archabal) all immigrated to Idaho. William died as a result of a tragic accident when he became entangled in his team of horses and was dragged for 36 hours. Donald died on June 6 1937 as the result of a motor accident. Angus married Helen but they had no children and he died on his ranch on October 30 1960.

task of gathering obituaries of those buried in the cemetery here or who have lived in the community.
I am thrilled to find the 40 Greenleaf obits you have posted on your site and have copied them.

What a nice site you have made. It is wonderful project. I did not find any Brewers or Pitneys on the list, but did see some Tabers. Some Daltons show on the search engine. I will visit again. I know that Myrtle Belle Taber Brewer Pitney, and her 2 young children, with the SURNAME BREWER lived in Caldwell in the early 1920's... Maybe sometime I will find a connection here... and will be able to make some genealogy headway.

Thank-you so much! We were thrilled to see the picture of my husband's great grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lincoln Rose) and the article about their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The article even mentioned their son Frank L. Rose Jr. (my husband's grandfather) who was at the anniversary party. We figure that his son, Frank Lincoln Rose III (my husband's father who passed away two months ago) must have been at the party too as a 6 year-old. It was fun to read about such a specific piece of family history! We will frame the photo and put it next to the photo of our son Frank Lincoln Rose IV!

Enjoyed finding your site, I used some of the information I found. I sent some information on family members not listed yet. I sent photo of grave stones also. Sounds like you could use some help. every little bit helps when you have a large project like this. thank you for taking the time. I do some of this for my family and it is very time consuming.
