Chris had moved out and left his wife a month ago. The wild side of life had taken him into a spiritual far-country. Leaving his family behind, he found out sin was not what he thought it would be. Today he got saved and told his family he was sorry!


Jack Came as the result of his brother getting saved (jIM) and asking him to come today. We had never met but I could tell he was in bad need of a Saviour! His mother testified today that she had seen him dog drunk for years, on drugs, in prison, and even hit by a car while drunk. Jack came to the altar today and found new life in Jesus Christ!


Needless to say, we were broken with rejoicing and praise. God had convicted and saved two men that had seen the results of sin and shame. What a Saviour!!!...DR. KIDD

America's first Muslim College opens in Berkeley, California....

America's first Muslim College started functioning on Tuesday with 15 students starting classes, according to a Religion News Service article published by Huffington Post.

Berkeley, California-based Zaytuna College grew out of a pilot seminary program at the Zaytuna Institute, according to the report.

Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, an American-born convert who had undertaken Islamic studies abroad, set up the institute in 1996, which offered continuing education lessons in Arabic and Islamic studies.

Yusuf, along with colleagues Imam Zaid Shakir and Hatem Bazian, transitioned the institute to a full-fledged college.

The new college is offering two majors to start: Arabic language, and Islamic law and theology. There are plans to add advanced degrees, adult education classes and professional certificate programs in areas such as Islamic medical ethics, Islamic finance and religious training, say the founders.

With a rise in Muslim population and improving financial stability of Muslim immigrants, the community is now setting eyes on building academic institutions, just as Catholics and Jews did generations ago, said Farid Senzai, a member of Zaytuna's management committee and the research director at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding.

Co-founder Bazian, who is also a professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Palestinian native, said the college is needed because of a lack of native-born Muslim professionals with a strong understanding of their faith and the needs of U.S. Muslims.

The founders said the college will seek accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. They also said they hoped "to graduate students who can work in any profession, including serving the Muslim American community as imams, nonprofit managers and Islamic school teachers."

The college will be housed at the American Baptist Seminary of the West for five years until founders can establish its own campus, the report says.

Zaytuna means "olive tree" in Arabic.

We attending the tent revival you just finished Tuesday night in Boone, NC. Made every night and received a blessing EVERY night. You may or may not remember us, but my 14 year old daughter came up to you and discussed a burden that she has for his sister and you gave her a CD about God in the lives of young people. That meant so much to her and please know that we are praying for her sister. Your messages were so very thought provoking and inspirational to us and was actually sad to see it end, for my own selfish reasons. My boyfriend, Jonathan Triplett who came with me every night was under great conviction throughout the entire meeting. He was deceived by the devil to believe for the last 16 years that hr had gotten saved in 1994. Last night, after much turmoil, he realized that he was lost and called in an older family friend who has been a preacher for over 30 years. He helped to lead Jonathan to Christ last night. Down on his knees I heard him cry out in despair for the Lord Jesus to save his sinning soul and forgive him of all past transgressions against God. He has struggled with many sinful afflictions since 1994, even tho he believed he had been saved. He has concerns that he may have trouble staying away from those things he has used in the past to ease the pain and hurt of his failures and mistakes etc. Please, if you would, help us to pray for God to remove those harmful and sinful afflictions from his life and the faith in God to help him turn from those on a daily basis. By the way, the message you delivered on the last night, Some Will Not Come, was the eye opener for him. He felt that if he didn't listen and obey God this time, that it was his very last chance to recieve salvation. The last thing he said before he called out for Jesus to save him was that all he kept asking himself was "If I died tonight, where would I go?" He knew the answer was Hell. In reference to denying the trinity; Do not be alarmed brothers. 1 John talks about these false prohets. Let us not entertain this spring without water as 1 Peter puts it. His condemnation came from long ago. His wisdom is not from the word of God, but is earthly and carnal. Let us all agree that Jesus is the Christ. daer dr kidd, the great god of heaven allowed me to enjoy three amazing blessings on the very same day. first of all God allowed my wife to deliver are first baby hope ann ritthaler on 8-24-10 at 2:15 in the morning. after a very long wait, and much prayer hope was born not when we wanted her to be born, but when God wanted her to be born. let me explain what I mean by that. my wife and I decided on the name Hope about five months ago because it was a good biblical name. we have never doubted that name since and we see why know. when we were leaving the hospital this morning and packing up to go, I opened my bible up the book of Romans and my eyes fell on a verse of scripture describing are new born baby. hope was born on 8-24-10 and this verse is found in romans ch 8 verse 24. the bible say that we are saved by Hope. praise God he knows what he is doing. secondly our prayer from the start was to have a beutiful and healthy baby that will honor God with her life. God saw fit to answer this prayer for us. Hope is so pretty,and very healthy according to the doctors. third of all, my book that I have worked on for about 11 months know happened to be completed by my dad and will shortly be taken to a publisher to be available to the public. praise God for his goodness and his answer of prayer, I deserve none of it. we also had many chances to witness with every single person excepting a tract about how to go to heaven. The tent meeting closed out tonight on a high note of praise and thankfulness. We were going to run the meeting through Friday night to reach a man named Steve that we have been praying for. He could not leave the tent tonight and was saved! Another 19 year old girl was saved tonight as well. The burden for the meeting was lifted at the end of the invitation.
