Je crois qu'il s'agit de Catlow George , official number 14289700 , 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards . Royal Armoured Corps , death 3rd September 1944 .Age 20

I would like to trace the record of my grandfather 4864 Pte Joseph Ireland, 4th Dragoon Guards who was attested in Dundee on 13.12.1897 for the Dragoons of the Line, served in India, transferred to the reserve at Middelburg CC on 12.1.1905 and went out at the start of WW1 with the BEF. I traced him later to the Royal Engineers as a sapper (308882) and he fell 30.8.1917, being buried in Calais.
How should I go about this, please?

My father, Michael Robertson was a member of the 4/& RDG from 1938 until 1952, leaving as a Corporal. He did not find his medals, thinking that they may have been stolen, and was heavily involved with many of the Countries as he drove troops around. Is it possible to find out if he can have replacement ones? his Service number was 6203451. In poor health I would love to make this final gesture for him and would like to wear them to Remembrance parades in the future as his daughter

looking for any members of the regiment who served with my father from 1967-1985. his name is eamom (sheamus) sheils

Did 387685 WO3 J.Arkley 4/7 DG serve with the regiment during WW2. This may sound a silly question but many experienced soldiers were training others and not serving with their parent regt.
Great website have enjoyed reading everything.
